Essay On School Year Goals

My goals for this school year. I planned them over the summer, my goal is to make more friends. Since my best friend left I have pushed everyone away. I barely have friends at school so I told myself this year I was going to make more friends, speak more, and be more confident with myself, without being a mimic. It's going to be hard but I think I can pull it off. When people think about what they're goals are for having a successful school year most people will say getting good grades or entering the honor society. But for me it isn't the grades or the honor society, when someoneasks me what for me is a successful school year I will say it will be the year in which I make more friends, particupate in school activities and show people what I'm capable of, that I'm not an inept kid with no talent or skills. This year would be a successful school year for me.

At Notre Dame it is really hard to be friends with everyone because my class is really divided not by academic levels but by the global stereotypes the "popular" kids and the "other" kids. I want to change those stereotypes in a serene way. My plan is to

Then in fourth grade I met Camelia, the best friend I will ever have, and I started to break my shell. By the time we where in sixth grade I was fearless but then the barrage of bad news came. Her parents decided to move to Florida. With those news all my strings broke and when she left I was devastated. When seventh grade started I shut everyone out, I had this immense misgiving of letting them in and getting hurt again.
