School climate is the quality of the relationship between the students and the adults. There has been a decrease in bullying because of school climate; as many students feel safer as they do not have to worry about any violence happening during school. School climate can reduce the amount witnesses seeing a gun. According to article 2, “There, 20 to 30 percent of students above the elementary level consistently report seeing a weapon of some kind at school at least once during the year. That's conservatively more than half a million students, just in that one state.” This means that amount of reports of students seeing a gun has been decreased. This leads to less violence from happening on school grounds, making schools much safer. Threat assessment is a report of someone talking about violence or a weapon being seen at school. When this plan was implemented in schools in Virginia, many great results happened. For example, Among the positive impacts, he says, are "reduced suspensions and reduced bullying, students and teachers reporting that they feel safer, and students reporting a greater willingness to report threats of violence.” Students and teacher’s now feel safer in school. Nevertheless, students can now learn in school without having to worry about violence
