In spite of the better things of the bond, There is unquestionably more illogical components of this bond. As I stated in my first paragraph, the school board has $22,561,250 worth of debt and if the people of morgan county vote yes to the bond, consequently, The school board will be broke and not be able to pay for more urgent things that could possibly come. Instead of rushing to build and redo the schools, they should first pay off their massive debt and then go through with the bond. As of right now, having the portables for extra classrooms would be sufficient until everything is paid off. Passing the bond is like buying a new car before your old car is paid off. Why should we spend more money when we are already in debt.

If the bond passes and is implemented, there will be 16 new classrooms. What will the board do after morgan keeps growing and will need more classrooms? Their plan is only looking around ten years into the future. After the school fills up, then what? This entire problem will start all over again. The only thing that could completely solve the problem is building another high school in mountain green. We could do this by waiting until all of our debts are paid and then have more than enough money to build
