In Rubbish Boys Brian Scudamore is involved in extensive key issues. First, he states that he has two successful branches and then eventually closed them both to focus on Vancouver and the expansion. It was hard to understand the reason behind Scudamore shutting down two great investments for a startup; not a great decision in my opinion. Although, past experience suggests he doesn’t respect the process of a business and seeing its potential growth. Also, he is very doubtful and doesn’t seem like a risk taker (entrepreneur). His biggest influences are his family businesses that became the center behind him being wired to become an entrepreneur. That caused him to fire all of his employees and start from the ground up with a new team which is a great way of moving in the right direction. Although , by doing this it caused him a lot of money because from having 16 people working to now 1 and business booming there’s going to be a lot of dissatisfied customers and a lot of money loss for the business . Soon after his huge fall out with his former partner he hired Dave and eventually trusted him enough to leave him Vancouver while he is away expanding the businesses.
