How it happened is Friar gave Juliet a potion that made her appear dead. While Romeo was grieving about Juliet's death, he wanted to end his suffering, and drank poison. After he drank it, Juliet woke up and watched him lived his final moment. Soon after, Juliet stabbed herself, so she could die right beside Romeo. During their final moment, Juliet said, "Thus with a kiss, I die." In someone's point of view of a romantic story they might think it's sweet how both of them are willing to die for each other to spend there life together eternity. With both of them dead, it made peace between the two families, Montague and Capulet. On the other hand, if you looked at this in a cautionary tale way, it's saying you should think about the outcome, because it might not just affect you. Both of them left behind the pain and sadness to their loved ones. Which makes them both selfish for taking their lives.
Overall, Romeo and Juliet is an example of a romantic love story and a cautionary tale. The story has passion, false image, and a sad ending.
