Fighting in Afghanistan to them wasn’t to show bravery, it was to fight for something that they believed in. Captain Kearney has put in so much effort in this outpost that puts the real meaning to the name of the movie, everyone explains him as a person who loves life and always getting ready for war. All the soldiers overcame their fears, especially when it came down to the one assignment called Operation Rock Avalanche, which was the most brutal assignment they had to face throughout the months of being in Afghanistan. It was the low point of every soldier. It made all the strong soldiers weak in the knees. The enemies were close enough to kill the soldiers and take all their equipment.
