Try writing a personal diary and pretend, you are talking to your 99 years old version, in this way you can give yourself best advice. You must go to a restaurant alone so should spend time with yourself thinking about your life.

Accept Yourself

Learn to love and accept the way you are, love being true to yourself. You should also be comfortable in your own skin. It doesn’t matter what skin color you possess. It does not means that you should get prejudiced or think that you are perfect instead you should be humble and embrace yourself.

Be happy with all of the things you have and like about yourself, and embrace the parts of you that are less-than-perfect, especially the ones you can't change. Do not think is absolutes, stop saying you will love yourself if only you lost fifteen pounds, you will be perfect if you gain 10 pounds etc.

It is clear that there will be something about you that you do not like too much and it is that we all have shortcomings. But we should not lash out at them.

We should forgive ourselves and accept ourselves as we are. And if there is something that really bothers us or prevents us from being happy, then it is time to try to change it and improve as people. Personal growth is something that we should be doing throughout our lives and, thus, we will be better with ourselves.

Cast Aside Your Envy

Stop comparing yourself with others and do not wish to had what others have. Instead of wasting time work on achieving what you really want. The feelings of bitterness and resentment that come along with jealousy will only make you dislike yourself and wish you were someone else

Remember that your competition is with yourself. Your life is about breaking your own limits to live your best life. You are not in competition with anyone else, they have their own goals of life and they have their unique talents to achieve them. You should plan to outdo your past, not other people.
