These families are being deemed as giving material support to a terrorist organization, which translates to being terrorist themselves, by the U.S. government. Thomas Allen, contributor to a website that advocates to reduce immigration, says that refugees who come from a country with "terrorist activities" shouldn’t be allowed in because they could have given material support to a terrorist organization. He believes that the Patriot Act is being thrown out the window when refugees are let in. What they will do is be happy for a change and not worry about having bombs flying over their homes, or their children be forced to join a terrorist organization. The United States has the funds and resources to help refugees, that can 't help every refugee, but can help a couple thousand. People need to stop living in fear and listening to the news, if they took the chance to get to know Muslims then they would know that they are people just like us. Also people need to stop judging people based on what a section of the group is
