The three top three problems I think we have in America is: Health & Medical Issues, Criminal Justice/Capital Punishment and Poverty and Welfare. I think all three are very important in America today. I watch a lot of news and in the news reporters has always commented on medical health issues, by trying to make it affordable for Americans. They have also commented on criminal justice and poverty. I think it is very important that Americans have health insurance, safety for others, and be able to feed and take care of yourself. It is sad that most Americas are following a diverse group of uninsured individuals as they battle critical illnesses without proper care. Some people cannot understand how can a person have a full time job and still not able to take care of themselves and their family. The recent global recession and concurrent rise in job loss makes unemployment insurance (UI) increasingly important to smooth patterns of consumption and keep households from experiencing extreme material poverty (O'Campo, P 2015). Even with unemployment benefits there are some gaps that keep people from receiving them, making it even harder to live above poverty levels.
