Essay On Pro Choice

The debate on whether or not women should have the right to end their pregnancy is a very controversial topic. Some people think pro-life is pro-woman, while others try to promote pro-choice. Pro-life means that people oppose Abortions and believe that everyone should have the chance at life. While pro-choice means that people are trying to legalize Abortions, and that they believe people should have the choice to have either terminate an unwanted pregnancy or keep the baby. There are clinics all over the U.S. which provide services such as birth control, and Abortions. Along with the clinics are protestors who stand outside the clinics and have posters against Abortions. One main reason Abortions remain legal is because it is the mother that will be going through the pain of having to give birth, so they should have the opportunity to choose to go through the pregnancy or not continue it. Also if it is in the best interest …show more content…
Taking away that right to choose is not only wrong but could also cause other health problems. If a female is determined to get an Abortion they will do whatever it takes to get that. Which could become unsafe for the baby and herself. Certain states in the United States have tried to pass certain rules, or laws such as a 72 hour waiting period. The waiting period is suggesting that they have to make an appointment for the procedure but have to wait 3 days till they can actually go through with it. Hoping that these women will change their mind. The statistics only showed that 15% of women changed their mind. There are faults to this test because some of those 15% could have gone to another state who will not make the girls wait that long. Even though Abortions have several pros and cons I do believe that it should be pro-choice. Women should have the choice to receive the procedure. This topic will never come to a conclusion because everyone has their own

It has been debated that it makes women feel like they have a choice in the matter but throughout the years this has left the father of the child without choice, and left the baby without a choice. killing babies and taking them from their fathers without a choice is wrong in my eyes and i also believe this to be murder and should be treated as such because for one you're still killing a person just that person doesn't have a voice of its own to speak up with. These children you're killing just because you don't want to take responsibility for not keeping your legs closed is almost childlike and very upsetting to those of us who think all people should have a chance to live life the only time that this inhuman service should be allowed is to rape victims because just like the child has no choice neither did she and just like i believe the baby should have a choice i think rape victims should to since they were forced to conceive a child but if you weren't forced to have intercourse then you shouldn't be allowed this choice you should be forced to take care of the child, but i do believe that women should have the choice at the age of being able to conceive whether or not they want their tubes tied if they decide not to and get pregnant then they should be forced to take responsibility for their actions and not allowed thee option of an abortion. Honestly in my own opinion i feel that abortions are just a way for a women to be able to have more than just the interactions she had leading up to the pregnancy and by aborting their child and their responsibilities they are able to do it even more times without anything stopping them….…

One reason abortion is a social issue is because people don’t know whether it should be either illegalized or legalized everywhere.
