Police Brutality Then and Now
Police brutality is a bad thing that happens in the U.S and it might happen in other countries. The police brutality has been going on since the beginning of time and not just to blacks to Mexicans Muslims and Jews. I think that the blacks have got it worst and worst over the years and it's been reports articles about black lives that has been taken by police officer's over the years.
Names such as Oscar Grant III he was a 22-year-old African-American man who was fatally shot in the early morning hours of New Year's Day 2009 by BART police officer Johannes Mehserle in Oakland United States. Lamar Thompson is a 25-year-old African-American man who was gunned down by a police officer that shot him in the head …show more content…
In the book the offices some of them beat on the Jews terribly for no reason and for real while I was reading the book it got worst and worst for the Jews. Then now the blacks are getting it the same way the past still is in the future but in a different race and in a different way.
I think that today and back then has been the same over the years because there still racism, racial slurs and ad etc. But police brutality will never stop because of now and back then and now. But if people use there voice and make a group about it then it could spread around and might save our future and might make it bright and brighter for the young ones. When you think about it this has been a problem since the 1900 and it is still continues today and if we don’t stop it now than it's just going to get worst and worst for mankind.
Then I think that police brutality is one out of 10 bad things that goes on in the United States and it might be a problem in other countries. Like In the book the night it was about Jews in the struggle to survive. I can honestly say as a black man it is very hard to stay alive in such a cruel world. But It's probable hard for other people like Mexicans to go thru life every day.
