Every student has a pet peeve; things that get under their skin (unbearable workloads, all-nighters, exams, etc.). You may not know it, but college professors have pet peeves too. The Rampage interviewed real professors to find out what their biggest pet peeves are and what you, the student, can do to avoid them.
– Texting during Class

Even if I ask students to put away their cell phones or other electronic devices, I know they are dying to get to them in class. As a result, some, not all, students are constantly wondering if someone is trying to get a hold of them, and therefore, are not concentrating on class, their grade, or their future, but who may be trying to get a hold of them. They let their grade decline. They were constantly desiring to get out of class to get to their messages. Cell phones have a great purpose and can be very useful, but not if they are abused. I have one, but I know when to put it away! " Moore said.

Exams are stressful, period. A critical element in the evaluation of students, an opportunity to demonstrate what they've learned. Whatever the case – remain calm. When you panic, your mind turns blank. That's where things go downhill fast.
Don't study the day of the exam. It's too late to cram new info on test day, put the textbooks down.
Set concrete tasks for yourself. Set a plan for yourself ahead of time devoted to studying. Read a chapter or two a day, turn to your notes, make flashcards or study guides. Grab a timer, time it for 20 to 30 minutes and complete a task during this time. Here's the catch – shut off the electronics. Study time means no
