Spirituality has different definitions as it relates to individual worldviews. In this paper, I will discuss worldview as it relates to pluralism, scientism, and postmodernism. Merriam Webster Dictionary defines Spirituality as the quality or state of being concerned with religious matters. Everyone has a worldview which emerges from our environment and the people around us. God and ethics are the two determinants of my worldview, and they have shaped me to be what I am today. I was born and raised in a Christian family. My father was a Catechist and makes sure we attend church and receive the Holy Communion every Sunday. AFTER DEATH:
We often wonder what goes on in a person after death. Do the go to heaven or hell? Do we reincarnate or transform to a higher state? The answers to this answers these questions are determined by one’s culture and religion. Christians believe that going to heaven after death is a reward for leaving a good life. Christians believe that death is a reward for leaving a good life free from sin. However, we are taught in Christian religion to preserve life and not to kill ourselves and others.
