Essay On Native Americans

Native Americas first originated form Asia, they were seen as nomadic tribes that followed the animals and lived of them. Through process of migration and grazing, the animals found themselves crossing form Asia to North America, with the animals, came the Indians. The native Americans first reached America 13,500 years ago by crossing the Bering straight which is now not visible because of ice melting, some stayed in America and some kept on moving to form the Inca and Mayan cultures that we know today. The Americans we know today who originally came form Europe came to America 400 years ago. That means that the natives were there over 13,000 years before the Americans came and messed that up. This also attracted many more immigrants to America. With all these people there was a lack of space so people kept moving and as they kept moving they wold intervene with Indians and either push them away form their land or kill them. These reservations are still poor and filthy, the people choose to live in the reservations because it is the last piece of their heritage where that if they leave the reservations they fear that people will forget about the mass murders and genecide done. Americans had also given them the chance to switch cultures and become American citizens but many of them chose not to for the same reason they all chose to stay in the reservations.
