Essay On My Vision For America

Improved Essays
My Vision for America is to fix the workforce system that has been overtaken by other country's manufacturing companies. Like for example, China has a large chunk of our manufacturing and are taking jobs of the U.S. citizens that so rightfully deserve the jobs that help provide for our country. Even though China is less cost expensive than other countries, it is still a competitive manufacturing country. The U.S. is ranked at the very top of the chart for most expensive manufacturing out there. Honestly, even though china costs less to manufacture goods and other miscellaneous things we should not be taking away from the jobs of our Americans. They deserve the jobs, that our country is so thoughtlessly giving away to other countries.

A way that we could potentially fix the workforce system would be to stop the production of items that are made in other countries and let Americans make them instead. We’ve been at war with many of the countries that we foolishly give away our jobs too, but why?

In-fra-struc-ture, noun; The basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g., buildings, roads, and power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise. Many valid and logical points have been reached within this short amount of writing and time, with hope that it provides enough reasoning for manufacturing and it’s jobs to be brought back to America where it belongs. You want your clothes, shoes, and toys your children play with, to be from the country you live in. Not some country across the sea that mindlessly makes them. Bring manufacturing back the The United States of America and provide jobs for those who deservedly need

Slogans are a type of vague sentence or statement that are typically used to convey a opinion or a goal. Due to the vagueness, they are not meant to be meaningless, rather they are typically easy to agree with but can later be found to be objectionable. Take for example Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan, we could replace the word "great" with "guess" and we would have a more accurate statement.…

America has and probably will always be facing many things along its path. Throughout this semester I have learned and read about some of the ups and downs of America from 1492 to 1877. Everything that I have learned has shaped the world in its present time concerning some of the same problems faced back in the day. It’s so important that the younger generations know what happened so that we won’t repeat or be ignorant towards what happened during that time. As a people, we are constantly learning about different things, even about ourselves.…

Do you know how a bird protects its eggs? It protects them from harm when their young, because they are fragile and can’t fend for themself. Bias reporting in the main stream media has grown into a National phenomenon, especially after the most recent election cycle. There is no middle ground and there are never two sides to any story. The term “fake news” is voiced over and over again by politicians and I can’t help but to agree. Before you dismiss my essay in the assumptions that I am out on a mission to “Make America Great Again”, I believe all parties are equally guilty. Reporting now will have you believe you are either left or right, liberal or conservative.…

America is a land of amazing and unique opportunities that are not available everywhere in the world. America has been called the land of prosperity and of opportunity. America’s name itself brings visions of hope, patriotism, and of new life. It is the responsibility of all Americans to, first and foremost, love and respect their country.…

To properly answer this question, we first have to identify what exactly the founding fathers vision actually was. Now, we obviously can't say for certain, as they lived over two hundred years ago, but we can formulate an educated guess by examining quotes from the founding fathers, their actions, and the constitution itself. Although, even in their quotes, the founding fathers do seem to contradict each other, as well as occasionally themselves. However, amongst the other contradictory and some simply incomprehensible quotes, these three, by Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, stand out: "To take a single step beyond the text would be to take possession of a boundless field of power." - Thomas Jefferson "The basis of our political systems…

Living in America, you tend to pick up things that might be uncommon to you because of where you come from. At the time that you can't even afford the things that you wanted. Growing up in the Philippines, my family struggled with financial issues, most of the things that I had were hand-me-downs. Living that kind of life taught me to not be too wasteful and don't throw it out if it's not completely empty. When my family arrived in the United States I was eight years old and was also very excited because it was a new start for us.…

It would be their moral duty to set up a fund to educate and train American workers for other kinds of work that cannot be outsourced. Unfortunately, not all employers feel morally obligated to do this. I would suggest the federal government step up and support these workers by passing mandatory laws in the event a company decides to take their work out of the country. The American Society of Civil Engineers has estimated that we need to invest $3.6 trillion by 2020 to rebuild our deteriorating roads, ports, airports, as well as fixing our fresh and waste water systems and other critically needed public facilities. This can be made possible if we train workers to fill these types of jobs and invest in rebuilding America’s declining infrastructure (Scott, 2015).…
