I had just woke up and called my brother into the room. He came in, him being only two years older than me, climbed the rail of my crib and joined me. Later my mother came to get me out of bed and was confused as to how my brother got in there. To me this memory has always seemed nothing but real. Like the last memory I have seen a picture similar to the experience I remember, so that could align with my last theory of it not being true, but I feel like this memory could be true. Unlike the article previously described I have never had any problems recalling this memory. I do in fact know that my mom has told me the story behind the photo. Which could influence my memory, to me this memory feels like I actually lived it. Yet I have to take into account the fact that it could be a flashbulb memory which is “… unusually vivid and detailed recollections of the circumstances in which people learned about momentous, newsworthy events.” (Wieten pg. 262). Even though this wasn’t a historic news event it was still something I recall with great detail, but even flashbulb memories can be manipulated. Due to the fact that I see no evidence showing that this entire memory is false I conclude that it is genuine. Parts of it may be slightly manipulated, but I believe that it is
