My dad was the first one to get on his, then my mom got on hers and my sisters followed after her. I was the last one to get on my horse but I didn’t mind because while everyone was getting on their horse I was taking pictures. After everyone got on their horse and were saddled up we were finally able to start going up the mountains. It took a few minutes to get use to feeling like I wasn't going to fall off but eventually I got use to it. The horses were trained not to follow in the center of the path but rather to follow on the side closes to the edge of the mountain where it fell like you and the horse were about to fall to your death. Although it was rather uncomfortable being on the edge of the mountain the view was incredible. I had my camera around my neck and every so often the horses would stop so I was able to take pictures. We got stopped and you could see everything at the top. You could see all the different mountains and valleys and the pretty trees as they were turning orange, red and yellow. We were able to get off the horses and take pictures. I have so many pictures from the whole trip. The view was breath taking. The mountains and horses are two of my favorite things and I have always told my mom that I wanted to ride horses in the mountains, so she made sure I was able to get that for my birthday. After we got through taking pictures and viewing the mountain we got back on the horses and started to make our way back down the
