Murderball is documentary about the sport of wheelchair rugby between the Canadian and United states men’s team. Peter (2012) describes “wheelchair rugby is the most thrilling and brutal sport in the Paralympics”. In able- body society wheelchair represent as weakness but wheelchair rugby break up stereotype of non- able body society (Lindemann, 2008 p,1). It obviously represents masculinity with non- able body. Murderball is not categorized sports documentary; it is also showing the players and coaches dramatically personality’s everyday life. Murderball totally breaks prejudice of disability people who is bounded wheelchairs. The film shows that masculine and aggressive men are preparing the battle to their rival; this theme is same as any of sports team. But different thing is those strongest athletes are bounded wheelchair. Throughout the film people bounded wheelchair are not symbolized as poor, tragedy and loss masculinity, according to (Kupper, Muse) “A wheelchair as material artifact, tool, and sign of freedom, sexiness, and regained masculinity – machismo”.
