One of the main reasons why minorities men are incarcerated is because the War on Drugs. Why because once someone comes out of being incarcerated his or her right are restricted. For example “Yet it is not likely to be news to any reader of this Symposium on race and criminal justice that the primary casualties of that war have been African Americans and other individuals of color” I feel that racial profiling plays a role in the impact on the war on drugs among the black community. Yet certain corrupt officers seize a black person and arrest them allegedly “using drugs”. Which leads to not all but some incarcerated. Laws were place to help decrease future generation of African American children from getting involve as well as present generation, but have the purpose of helping lost its meaning? I for one find it crap that cops are promoting this idea that black people are the ones who do drugs the most so that’s why they go to jail or prison. For example, one time I was watching a video a while back and it show two people. One was black and the other was white. Both were charge with possession of drugs. The black person was charge more than the white yet the white guy hard more drug than the other guy. The criminal justice system needs a change. The way it’s heading would lead right into a disaster. To make a legit system where equality may exist rather then it is because of color that makes everything seem wrong describes that this system is not what it would seem rather then it
