What it means to be a Profession in the Army based on my own personal experience is knowing that your Soldiers can trust you to take care of them without question. My training and expertise helped in gaining the trust and confidence of the Soldiers assigned to our unit, and that they could depend on my commitment to them so they can continue with their mission and not have to worry about the “small stuff”, and to assure them that they and their families will be taken care of just as well.
