I have always wanted a job where I would know the pay would never cap out. The amount you make can become higher for advanced education, the place you choose to work, and the location. The field is always hiring, and I would never have to worry about not having a job. Growth is always an option as well in this career. On average, most medical billers make around $40,000 per year.
Flexibility is always an option when working as a medical biller. There are many companies that will allow you to work from the comfort of your own home. Some people do not like working regular nine to five shifts, being a medical biller, you can work any shift you would like. Hospitals are always open and leave many open opportunities for available shifts. Since I am a single mom the option of a flexible schedule really caught my eye when I was choosing a career to proceed in.
