The first reason for not lowering the age of drinking to 18 is that there will be more car accidents on road. When more people drive under the age of 21, then more car crashes will be on road. People who drink and drive usually are the reason for car accidents. Teenagers are not responsible and mature enough, so as a result, they drink and drive. Driving while drinking will make the community unsafe and people will be scared to drive around. High school students will be drinking in school. There will be alcohol in school and colleges cafeterias. Students won't know the harmful effects of drinking so they will drink as much as they can. In a result of drinking in early age they will lose their morals. They won't be able to focus on their studies and what really is important. It will tremendously effect their grades and either they will fail the course or will stop going to their school or college altogether.
