When someone turns 18, he considers them adults. There have been many deaths in the United States due to alcohol. In our society, we see many young teenagers that being to drink at an early age. There have been many problems occurring due to alcohol, and there is the misuse of alcohol in America. The misuse of it causes the teen to experience alcohol poisoning, alcohol dependency, in the long run, and accidents. This has continued and it will continue to happen to the youth unless we do something as a society. Even Though many people think that 18 is the right age to drink, no I think that the drinking age should be 21 because it might cause deadly incidents, and it damages your body internally.
When they have the opportunity to drink, they do so in an irresponsible manner. Mostly, the percentage of people in America drink. We could stop young people from taking a wrong path and leading them the right way. When anybody drinks, the chances of getting in incidents is higher. The minimum age for drinking in the United States is 21, while many other western countries drinking age is 18. For example, “ The president of 135 universities are campaigning to consider lowering the drinking age is 21. This is describing they want to lower the age because they probably can not or even control or even stop them from drinking.” ( What is the Age Responsibility). This quote is closely related to my debate because they are not responsible to be drinking and they even do something wrong after drinking it.
