Essay On Little Grand Canyon

Do you not love the wonderful odor of nature? As you may already know Georgia has a state park called Providence Canyon that may also be known as the Little Grand Canyon. Where everything is just made all naturally? Nature is full of living plants, rocks, forests, and many other different kinds of animals. They help things form little by little. This is called geology and is the process by which things are formed, moved , or changed .The geology of nature has created a beautiful canyon known as "Little Grand Canyon".In the very early 1800's farmers came into the southwest Georgia Coastal Plains. In the beginning "Little Grand Canyon" was not yet a canyon, but a very dense forest! When farmers began farming in this area little by little Georgia's Grand Canyon began to form.

You may already know farmers had very little machines back in the day to help them farm. All they did was move in and begin cutting down trees. Then they would start plowing and planting seeds for their most profitable crop, cotton! Every time it rained the soil in the landscape became very soft and sandy and this caused the plowed soil to erode! It just became a simple natural cause-and-affect of rain falling and then an inch or two of soil flowing downstream leaving trenches behind. …show more content…
The Little Grand Canyon is full of beautiful nature such as the wilderness, animals,and rock climbing! There will be so many other activities that you may do at this park as well, and after all I have told you about Providence Canyon , I think they should have made it a national park! The way it was formed during 100's of years made it very special. All of the beautiful colors of the sand and the amazing and fun programs would have made it great National Park! Many tourists would have been attracted to the "Little Grand Canyon" a whole lot more! They would have not only visited one, but hundreds of times! Do you not think
