When you turn on the News nowadays, there are news stories about bombings, shootings, and horrible things akin that. There are so many problems with the ways we treat other people that are different from each other. There are things like labeling people just because of their culture or skin, music lyrics in songs that are trying to spread the message to help others realize that they should treat bystanders better. Prejudice is also an issue because people don’t know what happens, and what would it be like if cultural and racial harmony would be like? How do we make it so racial and cultural harmony is possible? It may take a bit of time and thinking, but the process is not impossible. Labeling is where you give someone a name for what they appear to be and who they are. Labeling has been a huge problem in our world because others don’t like being called those terms of who they are assumed to be. People are starting to say that shouldn’t use labels to identify others anymore because we should all be equal. Others also say we should not just call each the label we were given based on the color of our skin. Nobody should care about the color of others’ skin, religion, etc. This could …show more content…
So the question is, how do we make racial and cultural harmony possible, and what are the steps for that to happen? Well, we have to treat each other better no matter what religion, we believe in, and no matter what skin color we are. We could stop the brutal actions of officers who are beating people just solely because of the color of their skin. And they should lower the crime rates for an African american because African Americans are more likely to be stopped and such more than an average white American. Then we can make campaigns about the problem and grab people’s attention. After enough work, we could do some other things, further expand the campaign, and then make it
