Who is Kevin Harvick?
Kevin Harvick is an American professional stock car racing driver. He is recognized as the winner of Daytona 500 in 2007 and the Busch Series Champion of 2001 and 2006. He has the all-time record for most Cup Series wins at Phoenix International Raceway with eight wins.

His name by birth is Kevin Michael Harvick. He is the second child of American parents, Mike Harvick and JoNell Harvick. He has an elder brother named Clayton Harvick and a younger sister named Amber Harvick. He had an interest in racing since his early age.

He was educated at North High School. In his school, he played baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. Later, he attended Bakersfield College to study architecture but he found his heart was in racing and dropped out to continue his racing career full-time. He attended several race competitions during his high school time.

Kevin Harvick: Professional Life and Career
Kevin began his racing career in 1992. He started racing late models part-time in the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series and he competed there while still in high school. He made his debut at the Mesa Marin Raceway in 1995. In 1997, he signed a contract with Spears Motorsports. The same year, he raced for NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series.

After a year, he won five races in Winston West Series championship. Harvick made his first NASCAR Busch Series debut on October 23, 1999. In 2001, he made his Winston Cup Series debut. They planned to race Harvick for a full schedule in 2002. He became “2001 Nascar Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year”. The same year, he became Nascar Busch Series Champion.
