Kevin Durant otherwise known as “KD” is a well-known NBA basketball player.
KD was born in September 19,1988 in Washington D.C. He grew up in Seat Pleasant,
Maryland, a small town near D.C. KD was raised by his mother, Wanda and his grandmother, Barbara. His father, Wayne Pratt left KD’s family and divorced his mother.
It was when KD was ten that he decided he was going to start playing basket ball. It was then, that his father returned to support KD in his games.
Kevin Durant relevantly has two brothers Rayvonne Pratt , Tony Pratt , and his sister, Brianna Pratt . His mother, Wanda is a advocate that shares her experiences with many single mothers. His father, Wayne Pratt works as a U.S capitol police at the library of Congress. KD had many

Unmarried, Kevin Durant now lives in a recently bought home in Beachfront Malibu, estimated at twelve million.
Kevin Durant’s basketball name began when he played for the Texas Longhorns in the University of Texas. He received many awards such as “player of the year,” After just one year of playing as a college freshmen, he drew much attention and signed to join the NBA. He later was drafted second for the Seattle Supersonics and did great.

The next year the Seattle Supersonics relocated to the city of Oklahoma and changed its name to thunder. He later received the rookie of the year award and was then considered an “Elite NBA Player.” That’s when he grew in fame. He continued to play play with the thunders for another eight years (2008-2016). On July 7th 2016, Kevin
Durant officially signed to play for the Golden State Warriors. On March, 2016 KD suffered and injury but later returned after missing 19 games and continues to play for the Warriors.

KD also started the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation to donate to homeless shelters and to build homeless shelters to provide a home for the homeless. The greatest influential event in all of Kevin Durant’s career was when he suffered a bruised tibia bone and a 2nd degree MCL sprain, causing him to miss 19

games in 2016’s season. Nonetheless, kevin Durant endured a lot of pain and underwent physical therapy. Miraculously, Kevin Durant made his recovery and made it in time for the seasons playoffs and contributed to his team’s advancement third consecutive finals. This event of adversity served for inspiration for athletes especially those undergoing recovery. He is also influential in trying to make the world a kinder, and much stronger place.
Kevin Durant still has many more good years to come in the NBA and has many more awards to earn respectably. His legacy will be left in the hall of fame and to the hearts of many people. It is without a doubt that his actions in donating and building homeless shelters will help those who’ve endured the hardships of society. It’s his actions that show that doing kind things for society and standing up for those who
