There are three judicial court staff members in the jury commissioner’s office. The day begins each morning in the jury commissioner’s office at 7:45 AM to let jurors check in. On our busiest days, which are Mondays and Tuesdays, we receive over 230 jurors each day. During the process of conducting this on-line research and performing an informal test run, I was excited because I felt I have legitimate proof to what I am proposing to my boss of this message phone line. I was thinking that he will really support this idea because it seems like a win-win situation. We would have happier customers, happier employees, and during the end of each day, those phone messages would be attended to.
WHAT WAS THAT IMPORTANT? (COST)
As of September 14, 2012, the phone system was activated for the entire 4th Judicial building. VoIP is the new product for all court staff to utilize. VoIP is an acronym for Voice over Internet Protocol. It uses local area network (LAN) and or wide area network (WAN) to make calls. It is associated with making calls through the Internet. What makes VoIP phones systems more different is the ability to easily integrate with other business systems allowing increasing productivity and efficiency. Some of the most common features VoIP have are:
