Jews during the Holocaust
Many Jews died in World War II during the Holocaust in many different ways. Some Jews died from guns others died from gasses. Other Jews died from different types of diseases. There are many different ways Jews died during World War II but some of the Jews escaped after they realized that they were going to die.
The article “United States” tells us lot of ways Jews died. 725,000 of the “Jews” that died did not actually believe in anything the Jews believed, but were considered Jews by the Nazis (“United States”). One of the ways Jews died was gassing. A particular gas they used was Carbon Monoxide. This method was made by Artur Nebe when, one night he was drinking for a while then he got in his car and passed out and almost died in his running car because of the carbon monoxide. Between March 1938- September 1939 about 85,000 Jews escaped. In the late 1938s, 125,000 Jews lined up outside the United States consulates into the United States hoping to obtain visas under the immigration quota. (Skatrix.com). To be a Jew they had to have at least 3 sometimes 4 Jewish grandparents or parents. Some of the Jews that escaped escaped by hiding in the forests that were near the concentration camps. Even Jewish children were able to escape by hiding with the other kids that were not Jews most of the children look the same. After the Jews escaped they would hide in little like civilizations that only the Jews knew about. The most famous of these groups is the Bielski Partias.
