Specifically, healthcare professionals are required to report patient-care concerns in an efficient, timely manner. This in turn, promotes optimal components for quality of life, not to mention, a critical factor in patient safety and satisfaction (Liaw et al., 2014). Subsequently, SIM-IPE utilizes the application of communication strategies which include: SBAR, feedback/acknowledgement tools, team tactics, delivery process of a declining patient, along with strong faculty support (Liaw et al., 2014). Accordingly, the conceptual framework of Sim-IPE is tailored to display students' with audio-visual footage, clinical competencies, along with tools for effective decision-making (Liaw et al., 2014).
