Industrialization in the 1800’s was a large change to the many lives of citizens in the United States, from the technology to their ways of life. Starting from the advancement of technology, rail roads were becoming predominate and making way throughout the United States. Rail roads have been making life easier for farmers and traveler’s alike making transportation of goods and trips around the country cheap and easy. Till the time came to raise the cost of traveling goods. But rail roads can’t be made without steel, which many mining and steel companies have arose. Very competitive at the time but giving many jobs to Americans alike. At the very same time also killing many of their workers, due to their poor conditions in the factory and work places. They had a few goals and things they said they were to change or removed but none really persuade anything. The most change that happened to government was their affiliations with companies and even mobs to support them and carry out their vote. Farmers making their own party but later died down when their representative lost the vote. A once thriving force in politics in the 1800s just to die after their one dream had died on them. But not all was lost they were able to hand control over the rail road systems to the government. The Populist Party was able to get their much needed help from the government. Making credit like system to help farmers those who have to wait for crop prices to rise to be at a steady rate, to be able to sell and have had made at least a profit on. Government would lend the farmers money to hold them till they were able to repay the money back or go back to farming till the next available time to sell products.
