Religion will always be something that is relevant to me. In many different ways, it will always be apparent in my life. Mostly, the relevancy will involve me practicing and participating through my faith. I cannot imagine my life without God or religion being a part of it. For people who have the absence of religion, are missing an important portion that could have the possibility of fulfilling their lives. No matter how hard I tried, I could not stop believing in the Church or in Christ. A quote from an article says, “Firstly as we live our lives today, our faith gives us direction and purpose and helps us cope with life’s difficult situations. When troubles come – and they will; it gives us an inner comfort and peace to know that we are not on our own. Managing life’s problems make us stronger and strengthens our character” (Skjonnemand). This quote is inspirational to me because it describes how my faith has given me these possibilities and the importance of faith. I question why certain things occur and why certain things are seen as wrong or right. Although, I do have views sometimes in which differ a little from the teachings of the church, but it is something I wish I could change about myself. It would be perfect if I could change myself to not think of questions or not to believe in something thought to be outside of what my church teaches. I think it is in our human nature to question God and question the role of God in life. Personal Faith can be defined as one’s own set of beliefs. Personal Faith, as it mentions in the term itself, is personal. Everyone has their own set of personal beliefs, even those who claim themselves to be affiliated with a specific Religion. I identify myself as Catholic, but there are social issues in particular that I somewhat disagree with how the church views these
