Essay On How To Draft A Good Team

Draft a good team
The first step in taking home your league's championship is to draft a team that is solid overall. Hope for the best in the order to try to get a top 5 pick. I recommend picking a running back for your first pick, and if the best are taken then try to get a superstar wide receiver like Antonio Brown or Julio Jones. Then try to draft other wide receivers who get the most targets and touchdowns on their team. The top running backs to draft next year in my opinion are Adrian Peterson, Todd Gurley, Le'veon Bell, and Doug Martin. Devonta Freeman is not in this list because I think he is a one hit wonder. You want a very consistent running back that gets a lot of touches in the backfield. When the elite running backs are taken, get other players that have the starting job on their team. This is very important because you don’t want to waste your first 3 rounds on a player that doesn’t even play. Next once you pick 2 wide receivers and 2 running backs, you

Try to find weaknesses in your team, and target other players in the league that have these position. Propose a fair trade and make sure you don’t give up too many players for just a few. Use a trade analyzer website to double check your trades and to also find new trading ideas. If you are very desperate, you can try to get an unfair trade in favor of your team. Target someone in your league who is not experienced, and find a player on their team that is good, but not their best player. For example, last year, I traded Jonathan Stewart and Randall Cobb for Matt Forte last year. Randall Cobb turned out to be a bust and Jonathan Stewart was not so good at the beginning of the season. Matt Forte turned out to be a top 10 running back at the end of the season even with dealing with injuries. I later made a trade with the same person to get Jonathan Stewart back that I will talk about in the next

Twelve months ago, Jonathan Lucroy was considered one most valuable targets at the trade deadline, before the Milwaukee Brewers dealt him to the Texas Rangers for a prospect heavy haul. Fast forward to now, and it seems like Lucroy may be hearing his name on the trade block again, very soon. According to Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com, Texas is open to moving Lucroy, and going forward with a catching duo of Robinson Chirinos and Brett Nicholas. Despite Lucroy being the most accomplished name in the bunch, his value has regressed significantly on both sides of the ball.…

The vast majority of his trades have turned out to be excellent, such as the trade that sent Zack Greinke to the Milwaukee Brewers for several minor league players, including current Royals All-Stars Lorenzo Cain and Alcides Escobar. He also traded minor league star Wil Meyers to the Tampa Bay Rays for pitchers James Shields and Wade Davis. This trade made many people furious because Meyers was supposed to become an MLB star, and he never did. It turned out successful because James Shields became the Royals ace pitcher and led them to the World Series, and Wade Davis who was unknown back then, has transformed into one of the best relief pitchers in baseball. The most important trait of Dayton Moore is his ability to be an impactful leader and set this franchise up for success.…

The offense seems off at times, and defensive scheme is not being used to the players strengths. This past off season seemed ripe for the taking, we finally had an offense that could win games. The defense looked good considering the late push it provided last season, now they can't stop anybody.…
