Personal Narrative: My Goal

To start off, I created this goal because my physical and mental health is problematic. Moreover, my mood and body are not performing properly. Furthermore, I can achieve this goal in a few ways. First, I can walk around the local neighbourhood or park and complete my steps. Second, I can go to the Steve Nash Gym and walk on the treadmill. Lastly, to make it exciting, I can play soccer or basketball to complete my steps. This way, I have various options to complete one goal. My teacher in high school said that one must have at least do 10 000 steps a day. However, this is not possible in a busy schedule. Therefore, the amount of steps and duration seems more than enough for beginners. The benefits of walking can release endorphins which can …show more content…
I do not have enough water every day. Usually, I drink about 4 glasses every two days. Moreover, it is slowing my body down. Furthermore, I need to drink water to ensure that my inner system is cleansed and working. Like the first goal, I can keep a book or reminder so I can complete this goal. Additionally, I can set a reminder every hour to drink water. This way, water goes in my body at a more easing pace. Secondly, I can do more cardio such as aerobics and Bhangra to allow more sweat to leave the body. This way, my body would want more water allowing myself to fulfill this goal. Thirdly, whenever I leave the house, I can take two bottles of water. Therefore, I have access to water. It will tempt myself to drink more water when it is in my hand or in my bag. At the end of the day, if I haven't drank all 10 glasses, I will drink the rest before I sleep. There, I will sit cross-legged and close my eyes. Next, I will focus on my breathing and meditate to keep myself away from any thinking and breathe oxygen at the same time. In order to focus completely on meditation, I will set a countdown for 15 mins on my phone or alarm and put it to a side. The benefits are that I become more calm, peaceful, connected to myself, connect to the soul and retrieve more oxygen which helps avoid diseases or health problems. Furthermore, one is more mentally stable and can make more better decisions. First, I can do this before I sleep because my body will be tired which will benefit myself. Second, I can focus on my breathing while I meditate during yoga. Furthermore, this will help me focus on my breathing and body. Thirdly and Lastly, I can do this while I am in the hot tub. I will be more susceptible to mediating because the hot water brings
