I found the student handbook to have some very informative information. I found many of the items under the community services part of the handbook to be very helpful. I really liked the idea of giving those Aspire students the opportunity to tutor other students and get paid for it. Many students put forth a lot of effort and maintain good grades this is a great benefit for the students who have the time and need to make a little extra cash. The Career Services is another really useful resource that I will find myself utilizing. I was pleasantly surprised at how much help and support the Career Services Center offers from career assessments to job hunting and even help writing a resume. What a great resource this will be when I am finished with my degree. The library and writing center will be great resources for me in conquering those difficult papers. Its also great to see that they give the students the opportunity to utilize the campus weight room. Exercise can be really good in helping …show more content…
When I am finished at Simpson I am planning on walking during the graduation ceremony. That step is very important for my family and myself. Not only will this degree be something I worked hard for it is also something that my family has been involved in and has made sacrifices for me to do. I will definitely try and qualify for membership in the Honor Society. I was able to successfully qualify for the Honor Society at Shasta College, so I hope I can achieve that status here at Simpson.

I plan to check my WebAdvisor on a daily basis and sometimes more than once a day. I find that to be the best way to keep up on things and not miss anything that is important. Time management is very important for being successful. It you do not manage your time well you will end up running out of time to complete the assignments.
