Most children were sent directly to the gas chamber upon arriving at the concentration camps, and infants most were killed immediately after being born, some children who were born in ghetto or in camps where hidden by the prisoners, to help them survive. Most younger children died of starvation, because they couldn’t do much so they were thought of a “useless eaters”, and because most children were generally too young for forced labor, the younger children, the ill elderly, and the disabled were the first to be sent to the killing centers.
