The world falling into hatred, crumbling in anger and soaked with greed was how World War II started. The Treaty of Versailles was a treaty burned by the mind of Hitler. This treaty was a major factor in throwing the world down into a pit of world war, vengeance, and death tolls by the hundreds. Hitler wanted to become a monster thrived by power and killing sprees of innocent people. He was spreading murder and hatred throughout Europe. There were also other key contributions that threw the world into World War II which included the invasion of Poland and Hitlers anti-semitism. The key to stopping the aggression is responding with forming a collective security between nations. The Treaty of Versailles pulled down the Germans to the endless pit of anger. It punished Germany by taking away their territories in Africa and the Pacific. It also placed restraints against their military in addition to losing a ton of land. The League of Nations became weak from the core when they abandoned Ethiopia on its attacks from Italy. "He asked for military sanctions but the League of Nations' response was ineffective (Document 2)." This was the immediate moment where the Big Four rose above the League and took admirable action to make an agreement with Hitler. "it took the Big Four just five hours and twenty-five minutes in Munich today to dispel the clouds of war and come to an agreement over the partition of Czechoslovakia. There is to be no European war..(Document 4)." The Big Four made the pavement to World War II barren, even though the idea of war was said to be done there were still feelings of war.
