It's reverse discrimination for companies to hire a certain percentage of African Americans. It would be unfair to not be considered for a job because the company needs to hire African Americans to achieve diversity. Now many students are under pressure to succeed and be the best and by giving black students unfair advantages the hard work wouldn't matter. It divides society more than it is now. It's the opposite of what people are trying to accomplish which is unity and fairness.The advantages given to people because they are born into a race is absolutely unfair. The advantage increases racial tension. For example, tension would be created if races besides African Americans weren't hired to make space for them to be hired.
