Although these examples are appalling, there are unfortunately far more reprehensible acts that are committed by doctors including falsifying a patient’s diagnosis in order to justify tests and surgical procedures not vital to a patient’s quality of life as well as unbundling or uncoding billing statements in order to receive additional financial reward.
