(Discussing Hamlet's relationship with death in act 5)
In act five of Hamlet we see the final relationship that Hamlet the actor has with death. Throughout the play we saw that no matter how are Hamlet tried he was going to end up in a bad way. Hes actions didn’t help with better his ending when his time came. Through the play we read about how many people were killed or took their own life the only question was when Hamlets time would come. In act five we are introduced the his time that’s been coming. In act five we are introduced to his true relationship between death.
In act five scene one Hamlet in standing by the grave that is being dug for Ophelia, but he doesn’t know it's for her. The Gravediggers are joking around about how she died little does Hamlet know that Ophelia committed suicide, because she thought that Hamlet didn’t love her anymore. We are shown throughout the play that Hamlet supposable goes crazy and totally loses his mind little to know he was just

The king and Laertes have made a plan to kill Hamlet by having the sword fight, with ballended blades, but Hamlet doesn’t know that Laertes’s sword will be sharp. To add to that Laertes put poison on the end so all he would have to do is just cut him not actually stab him through the stomach. As this is going on the king puts a “pearl” in wine and tells Hamlet if he wins he can drink to the bottom and keep the pear. The pear is actually poison just in case Laertes doesn’t get the job done. “It is the poisoned cup. It is too late.” (Hamlet act five scene two line 297). The queen drinks the poisoned wine and is soon to die. As she drinks the wine Laertes cuts Hamlet and then the swords fall to the floor and in the mix up Hamlet picks up Laertes sword and stabs Laertes. Showing now that not only is Hamlet going to die, but the queen and Laertes are going to die
