These most obvious differences can be seen in each movies setting and time period, script and the manner. The first difference is the body movement in branaugh the movement is not much he just stand still in front of the mirror whereas in zeffirelli version he moves from one place to another. His confliction is shown by light and dark in zeffirelli version when he moves from the sun to the dark areas, it shows that he is still confused about the situation whereas two sided mirror is used to show his internal conflict in branaugh version. His facial expression in zeffirelli version are confused, he was pausing many times as he was speaking. Hamlet wasn’t even looking at the camera while speaking whereas in Branaugh’s version his voice and facial expression was frustratedly angry. He was quietly angry with the king. The camera angle in Olivier’s shows his view like how he looked down the castle into the water but in branaugh’s version camera is placed in such a way that felt like someone is looking over his shoulder and watching him whereas in Zeffirelli’s version camera follows him all over the
