Imagine a world where everyone has a decent place to live. A world that brings people together to build homes and hope for others who need that kind of necessity through God's love. That is Habitat for Humanity's vision and mission statement. Habitat for Humanity is a vast volunteer community where several other communities has formed from it. And from those several communities, other numerous small communities grow and become more defined. Because of that one small defined community, Habitat for Humanity has made me a person who enjoys volunteering and making a difference in my surrounding community. Kennesaw Mountain High School (KMHS) Habitat for Humanity club is an organization where students and faculty can help raise money to help pay for some of the building cost for a family who needs an affordable house. The main goal is to help raise money by volunteering through fundraising events associated with the club. In this organization, there is a remarkable opportunity around halfway through the spring semester to help build a house with other high school chapters. I first joined KMHS Habitat for Humanity club during my junior year as a member of this club. We cannot communicate and interact effectively and efficiently if we do not have a community that we are part of. It is the most influential factor that makes the kind of person you are in life.
