The purpose of the book “The seven habits of highly effective teens” is to encourage teens to be a better version of themselves and to live a better life. Throughout the book, the author gives you advice and stories from real teens show the reader essential how they overcame their hardship and prospered to become a better version of themselves. Each chapter provides the reader with different advice that will help you learn how to: define your goals in life, prioritize tasks, be a better listener, renew yourself, and how to take responsibility for your actions. Overall, I've learned how to be proactive and learn how to handle myself in tense situations and how to express myself.

Synergise means a whole is greater than the sum of its parts. For example
If to plants are planted next to each other their roots will intermingle and improve the quality of the soil. The previous habits allow us to create synergy, which allows us to create new possibilities and essentially drop our old ways and start new ones. I can apply this habit to my life by discarding my old habits and making new and finer habits. Dropping the bad habits that have negatively impacted your life and creating better ones is a good step to accomplishing your goals.
Habit 7 “Sharpen The Saw” focuses on the importance of renewing yourself. The importance of taking a break and focusing on yourself is essential. After a long time of hard work, a time of rest and reflection is highly needed. To be effective we must devote the time to renew ourselves physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially. To renew yourself physically you can eat and rest well. To renew yourself spiritually you can surround ourselves with good literature. To renew yourself mentally you can keep a journal.
