STRICTER GUN CONTROL LAWS ARE NEEDED IN THE UNITED STATES Stricter gun control laws have been a controversy for many years here in the United States. There are millions of people advocating for gun violence awareness so that more people can become part of the movement to put pressure on legislature to create new and better gun ownership laws. At the same time, the gun lobbyists (NRA and NSSF) are putting pressure on the lawmakers to keep from enforcing stricter gun laws. Meanwhile, everyday there is another brutal death among our fellow Americans because of the lack of gun control laws. The gesture of condolence is heartwarming, people of the United States are so generous, but just think what power it would bring to the cause if everyone contributed to lobby for stricter gun control laws so the problem of gun violence could cease. “Because of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, named after James Brady, who was shot during an assassination attempt of President Ronald Reagan in 1981, the Brady Law has helped to prevent a total of more than 536,000 felons, fugitives, domestic abusers, and other prohibited purchasers from buying guns since 1994.
