Great Danes are the perfect family dog for any family they are calm and timid. Great Danes have been around for thousands of years and were worshiped for a while. They are great with children because of their timidity they can handle little kids unlike other dogs. This giant may seem scary because of it's size but really Great Danes are really big babies who hate being away from their owner. Although they are mature tame animals they are still dogs meaning if children are by them you should keep watch, the child could hurt the dog and the it could bite as a reaction to it.
