Essay On Global Warming Is A Hoax

One of the many conspiracy theories that people are going mad about is that global warming is a hoax. Global warming is when there is an increase in temperature that is thought to be caused by carbon dioxide created by humans and other animals (Geiselman). The global warming hoax has been going on since the 1980’s and is still an ongoing conspiracy theory today. With nobody knowing if global warming is real or not, some people think it is a hoax because global warming is just an earth cycle, people think it is a scam used to make money.
To begin with, one of the reasons why global warming is considered a hoax is because this climate change is only an earth cycle. One way scientist know that it is an earth cycle is because it is actually getting colder. Scientist have found that the ocean is getting colder. “...rates of change in ocean heat content are ‘preponderantly negative’” (Hiserodt 13). Evidence of ice and glaciers have also been found. Scientist at Boulder, Colo say that the arctic ice is making a comeback and might even get larger over the next few decades (International). Ice being expanding is a sign that global warming could be a hoax after all. The earth has also had hot and cold cycles before. A group of scientist from Syracuse University did a study that showed that in

The reason why some people think it is a scheme to make money is because people’s tax money is used to fund it. According to Hiserodt, $165 billion of people tax money was used for climate change or the past decade (14). Hiserodt also states, “...‘30 times as much money on global warming research as he does on weather forecasting and warning’…” (14). Hiserodt also says that we spend more than $22 billion dollars a year on just global warming and most of it come from taxpayers (14). This shows people that a lot of money is used just on global warming and only global

The Liberal Hoax Climate Change: A long-term change in the Earth’s climate, especially a change due to an increase in the average atmospheric temperature. It is largely due to the increasing amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere. Ever since the industrial revolution, it has been a rapidly growing issue. More recently, however, certain groups of people have begun to deny this scientifically proven phenomenon. In fact, in 2015, Donald Trump, who now is the President of the United States of America has stated, “I’m not a believer in man-made global warming.”…

Human activity is one of the causes of climate change and it was proved by showing the Earth’s temperature today vs. the Earth’s temperature in the 1900’s. A lot of carbon dioxide was released and many states aimed at reducing it (Michaels). While Michaels uses logos in his article to assert the fact that nothing is being done to end global warming, Inhofe attacks DiCaprio and Gore for scaring children with their films and sending the wrong messages. However, they had different intentions. Michaels focused on global warming and provided a solution while Inhofe criticizes the films and points out its flaws like if he was a…

Alejandro Vieyra Mr. Moody English 4 5 December 2016 Climate Change Must Stop Climate change is the changing of weather patterns in regions all around the world. The primary cause of climate change is the appreciable amount of fossil fuel emissions that humans are sending into the atmosphere. These emissions consist of carbon dioxide that ultimately retain more heat in our atmosphere than needed, thus elevating the temperature everywhere around the globe and damaging ecosystems greatly. Many people, including politicians and scientists, believe that climate change is simply a hoax. Although some prefer to believe that climate change is fake and we have nothing to worry about, there are concrete facts that prove these individuals wrong.…

Global warming is being caused by humans and something should be done about it. The reason global warming is so prevalent is because people do not know they are hurting the environment and some people do not believe it is real. There will be consequences to everyone if nothing is done about it. Around the world, less than half the people in the UK (43 percent), Germany (49 percent), and Norway (34 percent) believe that global warming is caused by civilization (Le Page).…

Everyone has heard the term global warming, but how is this major issue being defined? To many people, global warming is defined as the steady rise of the Earth’s temperature from an excess of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere. To numberless others, global warming is simply that the climate change and carbon emission has nothing to do with it. While this last definition seems to be the easiest due to being less scary and not having to deal with the problem, it does not mean it is correct. As difficult as it maybe to accept the truth, people are slowly making their own home an oven; therefore, leading to fluctuations in the weather patterns, drastically rising sea levels, the extinction of many species, and an overabundance of…

Global warming has been a widely talked about subject for many years. Although it has become such a controversial topic, it is indisputable that there has been a change in the climate in recent history and continues to do so. Over the past one hundred and thirty- five years that data has been collected, copious amounts of climatologists have piloted research and investigations that proves global warming is an ongoing threat to Earth as a result of humans negligence. Furthermore, there is a mounting body of evidence to prove that the cause behind global warming is man-made. Despite the growing evidence, a number of scientists still believe the current changes in the climate a part of a natural global cycle.…

Global warming or climate change is the gradual increase of Earth’s temperature over time, through the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is the rising carbon level in the atmosphere, trapping radiation, and heating the Earth. Humans are depending on fossil fuels that release these emissions. Though we have increasingly started depending on renewable resources that don’t release these harmful gases into the atmosphere, we can already see the effects today and if this doesn’t stop now the planet will be destroyed. The human intervention that people have depended on with the environment is destroying the Earth.…
