Should factory farms like (Smith Farms) have gestation crate and the usage of drugs they give their livestock’s, and other farms at that. The pigs are given a limited amount of space of 2 foot wide cage there entire life until taken to the slaughter house. They bite down on the bars which causes the gums and teeth to break down. Gestational crates are too inhuman to the point where the pigs go mentally crazy. The livestock aren’t being treated right the over usage of antibiotics and drugs are going to the point where we need to say “enough”. A way where we can make a difference is to get rid of gestation crate because there to inhuman how would you like it if that was you.
Why don’t let the livestock live outside and not caged in all the time, let them feel the fresh air on there face, and breath for once. Research shows that it “not physically nor mentally healthy for these pigs to be in gestation crates there entire life”.
