Wishing this brand new day (one that should have been celebrated since I was alive and healthy) was already over, I wiped away the tears from my watering eyes that had yet to adjust to the light. As the sun hid behind the clouds, anticipation tormented me as I put on a vibrant pink dress, that seemed like it would be the only brightness I would see that day. Grabbing a pair of formal boots, I made my way downstairs to meet my grandparents who had elegant outfits as well- my Pop in his best black suit and tie, and my Mom-Mom in a stylish tan dress. This whole day was devoted to making sure I stay in Garnet Valley. Not only is Garnet Valley a great community with an amazing school district (that I have attended since kindergarten), not only is it the area I learned to drive in, and not only is it the area where my friends reside, but it’s where my true family is, my grandparents and my cousin, Blaze are.
