Friar Lawrence is most to blame because, when Friar Lawrence gave the letter to Friar John he didn’t specify how important that letter really was. Friar John didn’t know how important the letter was or he would’ve tried way harder to get that letter to Romeo. If Friar Lawrence would’ve made it clear how important the letter was Friar John would’ve gave it more effort to get it there quicker. Friar Lawrence never told Friar John that this letter could possibly save two lives.
