Secondly foster care is hard on a child it makes them feel different and have a warped look on life this is because foster care is a taboo to say in modern society no one ever talks about it there’s no lessons on it but then being a foster child myself I have been looked down on, I have been made an outcast in society but I have never in all my life let that get me down. Pasts can be hard to deal with but for a foster child they can get help. Foster care can be a blessing to some children being that they go to a loving family that will try and give them what they need for instance in my time I’ve moved a lot but I was with one family for 6 years and with these foster carers it was like I was part of the family I got to do stuff like go out on my bike on the weekends and go for meals with the family. With all say and done pasts are hard to overcome in a child’s head, social workers come see if you’re alright every 6 weeks and how your mental health is in the placement you’re in, on the other hand pasts could have no effect on a foster child because they have simplify try and forget about it and move on with their
